Clunes County Fire Authority

The Clunes CFA was established in the late 1800's and continues operations very successfully in country Victoria. The Clunes CFA is the local fire-fighting branch in Clunes. In an emergency, they can be contacted through 000 and cover urban and rural fires, residential or otherwise.

Recruiting

The Clunes CFA currently has approximately 25 part-time volunteers but is always looking for more. New, young or readily available locals are always encouraged to join. The CFA provides free training leading to a nationally recognised certificate. If you are interested in joining, please contact the CFA headquarters in Melbourne on 1800 232 636

Special Events

The winter months are a bit of well deserved down time for the Clunes CFA. The next special event will be the CFA's Stall at the Clunes Annual Show in November.
